The lamp is made of beech wood, the surfaces treated with natural oil and wax (Auro 129). Wood is a natural product; each lathed work-piece differs in colour and grain from the next.
To prevent any evaporation, the inner reflector of the lampshade is made of paper cardboard (not PVC plastic). The surface of the shade is natural cotton (nettle fabric).
Made of materials with minimum outgassing, suitable for people with MCS or those who want to create a building biology clean air environment.
These lamps are made in low volumes in Germany, especially for the Building Biology movement. The method of production and quality of materials means they are more expensive than ordinary lamps.
